Sustaining a legacy of compassionate End of Life Care through serving hospice patients and their families.

The Dr. Daniel Jenkins Foundation was established in 2016 to honor the memory of Dr. Daniel Jenkins.

His passion was the care of patients in hospice, and he spent over 26 years providing compassionate end of life care to his patients regardless of their economic or social status. Dr. Jenkins taught the art of hospice care to countless medical students, nurses and residents over the last three decades. He believed that all patients should be eligible for the benefits of end of life care regardless of their ability to pay.

In keeping with this ideal, the foundation was established to fund the needs of those patients requiring hospice care who are economically disadvantaged. The Foundation enriches the lives of hospice patients and their families while sustaining Dr. Jenkins’s legacy of compassionate care.
