Dr. Daniel Jenkins graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1982. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Amarillo, Texas from 1982 to 1985. He was board certified in both Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. 

Over his thirty plus year career, his professional medical experience included the following:

  • Summit Hospice - Co-founder

  • BSA Hospital – Hospitalist

  • St. Anthony’s/BSA Hospice – Co-Medical Director

  • VAMC – Internal Medicine Attending teaching physician, hospice attending physician

  • Amarillo Internal Medicine – internal medicine private practice 

  • Texas Tech School of Medicine – Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Jenkins was also called to reach across borders to serve the tired and weary. This calling propelled him to serve on missions in communities across Mexico, Kenya, Honduras, Belarus, and The Dominican Republic. Missions exemplified his day to day calling to serve those in need.
